Tried Noble Smoke for the first time. The Freedom Dr. location in Charlotte. It was not a home run for me. I first ordered a bottle of beer. The bartender actually walked over to my table and poured it into a glass, which I did not ask for, and thought was kinda odd. What if I prefer drinking from the bottle? First I ordered a brisket sammie, collards and potato salad. Brisket was on point, but a small portion for $15. I took one bite of the collards and asked the server to take it away. SWEET?! Collards are not supposed to be sweet. That unctuous, smokey, funky, collardie flavor is what collard greens are supposed to be, with smoked turkey or neck bones. That’s what complements good Q. Not a blast of sugar on your pallet. Potato salad was good, but over dressed. I ordered some take away food, after I finished my lunch. Chopped pork, smoked wings, pimento cheese, lima beans and a sausage link. All of this food was on point. Pimento cheese was interesting, comes with sour dough rye toast points. A bit pricy for $13, pimento cheese portion was a bit small for the money. The building is kitschy, nice and rustic. My server was nice and pleasant . I will go back some time,…but no colla

My coworkers and I ate family style, so my first time there I got to try a bunch of dishes. The wings were amazing, smoked and crispy just like we asked! For our main course, we had ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, green beans, mac and cheese (super amazing) and hush puppies. Someone had a salad, I guess it was good. lol Overall the food was freaking amazing and a great atmosphere. Couldn't eat it all, so I took a lot home, and it was even better the next day after reheating. Amazing! You gotta go! Oh, and the service was great too, even on a busy Wednesday. I'm definitely heading back.

We had a wonderful dining experience at this barbecue restaurant. We ordered the sampler platter, which gave us the opportunity to try a variety of barbecue meats. The sausage and ribs were especially delicious, with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked textures. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt like a classic barbecue place, creating a warm and welcoming environment. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. They checked on us frequently to make sure everything was satisfactory, which made us feel well cared for. Overall, we had a cheerful and enjoyable time. Great food, excellent service, and an authentic barbecue atmosphere make this a place we would happily visit again.

The food was most excellent. Kasey was our server and she was very polite and informative. Her recommendations were good, we went with brisket, Mac and cheese and hush puppies. Finished with an apple dessert Walking up to the building and the smell is heavenly. It made me hungry when I was leaving. Overall, a great experience and I will highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

Would love to take credit for finding this terrific barbecue place, but I saw that it was rated highly on Google maps. While I’m from Texas. I’m not sold on the east coast style of vinegar barbecue sauce, but regardless the food and service were excellent. Ate there for dinner Sunday night and came back late Monday afternoon. It is very convenient to the airport. The bartender was very helpful with suggestions and took good care of me. I have been telling people that this is an upscale modern restaurant with easy parking. I highly recommend.
